As an experienced performer and song writer, Lucy focuses her teaching around voice coaching as well as tutoring in Piano, Guitar and Flute. Lucy posses a passion, when it comes to teaching young minds about music and thoroughly enjoys running music workshops, teaching private clients and organising vocal groups.
Lucy's performance skills come from a background of festival appearances as a solo artist and front woman for the band Arlen. With intensive study under the mentoring of Chris Coe and Sandra Kerr; two leading artists of traditional music: Lucy has a keen awareness in passing on the joy of music from generation to generation, whatever the genre or style.
Her open mind in music enables her to work excellently with people of all ages and ability levels. Sessions are crafted to suit the needs and the dreams of the student's individuality. She is a very talented and charming teacher and fits in with the Solo Teachers ethos of passion and creativity when it comes to the performing arts.
